Top Rated module. 
This module is available for Joomla! 1.0 and Joomla! 1.5 native. Various SettingsThe module has different settings to adapt it to your site. Therefore the number of entries within the module is adjustable. Also the image (logo) or the icon of the entry can be shown optionally in the module. The default image and icon are used if set in the registry editor. To show only an image, the title text can be switched off. If the length of the title is too long, it can be shortened, three dots are added. Set Top List Limit to show only those entries in the module which got a minimum number of votes. 
Use the setting Category Dependant to show only the top rated items of the actual category when within category view of SOBI2. On non-SOBI2 pages the items of a specific category can be shown by adding the catid to the URL (e.g. &catid=3). The images show the standard settings with Module Class Suffix set to "_menu" for the default Joomla! 1.5 template and Show Vote Average resp. Show Vote Image set to "Yes". The number of votes shown in brackets and/or the vote image can by styled by adding the CSS class .sobi2toprated span.votes to your CSS file.
Horizontal View of the Module
The item style can be changed from the standard list view to the usage of div containers. Using div containers, the items can be shown horizontally. Each item is within a div container. Style the container view by adding the CSS class div.sobi2toprated to your template CSS or to SOBI2 CSS file. To get the example above add the following styles to the CSS file: div.sobi2toprated { border: 1px solid #336600; width: 105px; height: 130px; background-color: #eeeea1; margin: 6px!important; } div.sobi2toprated img { padding-bottom: 5px; } div.sobi2toprated span.votes, div.sobi2toprated a { color: #336600; font-weight: bold; } div.sobi2toprated a { padding-left: 6px; } The margins of the div container are pre-styled with '5px'. So add the "important" statement to the style definition to overwrite it (e.g. margin: 6px!important;). Also the images are predefined with 'no border'. Also add here the "important" statement to the style definition to overwrite it (e.g. border: 1px solid blue!important;). 
Use a graphics program like Photoshop to change the color of the stars or to create your own rating pictures for the plugin and the module. The shown green stars are included in the module package as 'Star-Rating-green.zip'. Extract them and copy them to the SOBI2 folder /components/com_sobi2/plugins/reviews/images/Star-Rating on your server. Vertical View of the Module
The div container styles can also be used for a vertical view of the module. Add a 'float:none!important;' statement to the div style definition to overwrite the floating.
Empty text if no entries with ratingsIf there are no entries with ratingss to be shown in the module (e.g. if you use the Category Dependant feature) a special text can be shown in the module. Enter this text in the module setting Empty Text. It is possible to insert HTML code here. The text is within a div container with CSS class sobi2toprated_empty. Add this class to your CSS file to style the text. The image shows the standard settings with Module Class Suffix set to "_menu" for the default Joomla! 1.5 template. Therefore add the "_menu" also to the DIV container for the empty text. div.sobi2toprated_empty_menu { font-weight: bold; }
