Important!

Before you report your problem ...

• Upgrade SOBI2 to the newest version. See the changelog list to find out if your problem is solved in the meantime.
• Perform a SOBI 2 system check to make sure that your server meets the requirements for SOBI2 and its plugins.
• Use the debug mode of SOBI2 and check out the SOBI 2 error log file.
• Check out Firefox Error Console for javascript conflicts. Read also why there are javascript conflicts and how to solve them.
• Read the available documentation to learn about SOBI and to find out how specific features work.
• Search this forum. For the most of the common problems there is a solution available.

If you did all the steps above and still haven't found a solution, post your problem in the appropriate board.
If you really want to get help you should state particulars about your server and site. These information are necessary to understand the problem and to give adequate help.

• Mambo/Joomla version**
• SOBI 2 version**
• PHP version**
• MySQL Version**
• Max. script execution time and memory limit**
• Used browser - if this is JavaScript/Ajax or HTML problem

• Create the "System Check Logfile" and attach* it to your post.
  In SOBI2 Admin Panel, select "About". On the left side click on "Perform System Check", then click on the "Perform System Check" button. Click on "Download System Check Log file".
• After increasing the error level, attach* the "Error log file" in your post.
• If there are javascript errors on your site (use Firefox error console), report these errors.
• Link to your site!

If you don't get an answer to your post, it could be that your problem will be obviously solved by reading the documentation or that the information you wrote are not enough to help you.
