Ok cool thanks Trinity,

Changed the gallery.class.php back to the original, also have the "Use Existing MooTools" checked, but still getting the errors:

Lightbox.init.bind is not a function
http://www.capetownalive.co.za/travel/components/com_sobi2/plugins/gallery/slimbox.js
Line 192

C has no properties
http://www.capetownalive.co.za/travel/templates/rt_populus/js/mootools-release-1.11.js
Line 64

Any ideas what could be causing those?

Thanks so much,
Chris

I seem to have an issue with IE mostly.  I would say forget IE but I know most of my users will be on IE, so here is where I am at.

FF, Opera, Nav, all seem to display the Slimbox just fine.  However the navbar I use still wont hide behind it, still waiting to here from Joomlashack on this so I figured I would post in here too.  But IE just fails completely.  The Image and Overlay layer both get stuck behind the content layer as well as the menu layer.

I've tried all the suggestions I've seen.

I know this rests with the template supplier but figured I would see if anyone had any suggestions as to get this working in IE atleast as good as in FF or the others.

Is there a reason that you have two mootools scripts running on your site?

Joomla 1.5 is loading mootools and also the jd-gallery plugin looks like its loading another mootools js.  You may want to fix them first.

You have also IE specific code in your template:

<!--[if IE 7]>
<link href="http://www.theindependencesquare.com/plugins/system/em_header_controlled/css/jd.gallery_ie.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen,projection" charset="utf-8" />
<![endif]-->

It is possible that jd-gallery is causes the problems.

Also if I mark (Ctrl-A) the text of your site in IE it looks really strange.

I removed the other plugin that was using the mootools-base and the jd.gallery.  No change though.

I appreciate the quick replies though... still nothing from Joomlashack.

The lightbox opens, but in background. The standard view is in foreground. But I don't know why. It could be a CSS style.
