This version is a maintenance release which contains several minor bug fixes as XHTML compliance changes and it solves a problem using postal codes. Functions, deprecated in PHP 5.3 are removed as well as ISO coded language files. Several texts are changed to more common expressions. Also it is now possible to define a fixed search distance instead of the user selects the distance from a distance select box. Also we are going to end the official support for the content management systems Joomla! 1.0, Mambo and Mia as well as support for PHP 4. Stopping support means, that new releases of Sobi2 and our extensions/add-ons are not longer tested on these non supported systems and browsers. They may work, but without guarantee. It was announced first to the public on JoomlaDay France on 21 March. Now we finished the description of the new features of SobiPro (/sobipro.html) to be published on our site. Also the slides of the presentation of SobiPro (/presentations/presentation_of_sobipro_on_joomladay_france_2010.html) on JoomlaDay France are now available. SobiPro will have the possibility for multi content, a new advanced template system, access control lists (ACL), an enhanced fields manager, an improved search functionality and much more.
