The new release RC 2.9.1 of Sobi2 is now fully Joomla! 1.5 native compatible.

In addition to the implementation of the Joomla! 1.5 native installer we changed the license of SOBI2 to GNU/GPL.

Besides these two major modifications, it is a normal maintenance release which includes a few low to moderate bug fixes and several small improvements.

Because Sobi2 can now be installed in Joomla! 1.5 native mode, we have to provide two separate installation packages; one for Joomla! 1.5.x and another for Joomla! 1.0.x, Mambo and Mia CMS.
