General Options

1. Component Name = Name of Component to be shown in Browser Title Bar and Main Link at top of Component on Sobi2 pages. (You can turn off link below - See #26)

2. SOBI2 Language = Choose Language for Component. Must install separate Sobi2 Language Packs.

3. Show Entries on Mainpage - Yes or No = This allows individual entries from all categories to be shown on the main page of Sobi2 below the category links if you have them set to show.

4. Default Template = Allows you to choose the default template (You may install additional templates in Sobi2 template manager) for vcard, detail and entry views. Note: Must also set vcard and entry form to 'use template' in template manager.

5. Number of Entries in a Single Line = Set the number of Vcard entries in a single row.

6. Number of Lines on a Page = Set how many rows of Vcard entries you want per page. If you have 30 entries, with 2 entries per row, then you will have 15 lines or rows of entries. Set this to 5 and you will have to navigate to page 2 and page 3 to see the rest of the entries.

7. Sort Entries by - drop down box:
title ascending - Entries are listed alphabetically A-Z.
title descending - Entries are listed alphabetically Z-A.
date added ascending - Entries are listed by date added - oldest first.
date added descending - Entries are listed by date added - newest first.
hits ascending - Entries are listed by number of page visits - most first.
hits descending - Entries are listed by number of page visits - least first.
ordering ascending - Entries are listed by order shown in Entry Manager (shown below each Category Manager in Entries and Categories).
ordering descending - Entries are listed in reverse order shown in Entry Manager (shown below each Category Manager in Entries and Categories).
Expiration Date Ascending - Entries are shown by Expiration Date - less time left first.
Expiration Date Descending - Entries are shown by Expiration Date - most time left first.

8. Show Categories on Mainpage - No or Yes = This allows the category titles to be shown on the front page of Sobi2. Each category title will be a link and will show the introtext below the title.

9. Number of Categories in a Single Line - Set number of categories to be shown in a single row.

10. Sort Categories by - drop down box:
name ascending - Categories listed by name A-Z.
name descending - Categories listed by name Z-A.
count ascending - Categories listed by most entries first.
count descending - Categories listed by least entries first.
order ascending - Categories listed in order shown in Category Manager in Entries and Categories.
order descending - Categories listed in reverse order shown in Category Manager in Entries and Categories Menu.

11. Show Subcategory List - No or Yes = This will show links to sub-categories separated by commas under each Category Link on front page and at the top of each Category when selected.

12. Number of Subcategories - This limits the number of sub-categories shown below a main category of the front page of Sobi2.

13. Sort Subcategories by - drop down box:
name ascending - Categories listed by name A-Z.
name descending - Categories listed by name Z-A.
count ascending - Categories listed by most entries first.
count descending - Categories listed by least entries first.
order ascending - Categories listed in order shown in Category Manager in Entries and Categories Menu.
order descending - Categories listed in reverse order shown in Category Manager in Entries and Categories Menu.

14. Count Entries and Subcategories - No or Yes - This shows a small number beside the category name on the front page of Sobi2 allowing visitors to see how many listings and subcategories are in each category.

15. Show Entries of Subcategories - No or Yes - This will include the number of entries for subcategories in the Count shown above for each parent category.

16. Show Description of Category - No or Yes - This will show the detailed description of each category at the top of the category page when they are viewed separately.

17. Display Icon in Category View - No or Yes - This allows the icon image to be shown in the Vcard or category view.

18. Display Image in Category View - No or Yes - This turns on or off the image in the Vcard or Category view.

19. Use Meta Tags - No or Yes - This turns on or off the meta tags and meta keywords in each entry. When used, the meta description and keywords will be appended to your standard Joomla Meta tag information on each page.

20. Use RSS Feeds - No or Yes - This allows for the RSS icon to be shown at the bottom of each entry detail page, category page for entire category and also for front page of Sob2 for entire directory feed.

21. Force Unique Menu-Id - No or Yes - This will force a unique menu ID for each duplicate link. Otherwise Sobi2 will use the current menu ID for each category or listing that does not have it's own link created in the Joomla Menu.

Editing Permissions

22. Allow User to Edit its own Entries - No or Yes - This will allow an Edit button to appear in front end of Sobi2 for users who create listings to edit them later.

23. Allow Using 'Quick Edit' (Experimental) - No, Yes or Admin Only - This allows a javascript 'live' edit feature on front of site when you double click a sobi2 field.

24. Allow Deletion - No, Yes or Only Unpublish. This will allow users to delete their own entries if set to yes. You may set this to 'unpublish' and the entry will not be removed from the database, but will not be viewable in the front end if a user chooses to delete his entry.

25. Show Alpha-Index - No or Yes - This will display a navigation across the top of all Sobi2 pages with letters A-Z to list categories and listings alphabetically.

26. Show Component Link - No or Yes - This shows a the Component Name as a link at the top of all Sobi2 Pages. It will take you back to the front page of Sobi2.

27. Show Link "Search" - No or Yes - This shows a link to the Advanced Search page for Sobi2.

28. Show Link "Add Entry" - No or Yes - The Add Entry link allows users to submit listings to the Sobi2 Component from the front end of the site.
