Repository certificate renewed!

The SSL certificate of the repository expired and we had to renew it. Please update the repository as described here and have your subscription token and id handy. You will find them on your personal club account page My Subscriptions.

Update SobiPro and its applications to the most recent version before reporting a problem!

We are continously improving SobiPro and its applications, fixing bugs and making working with them more easy. Still we see that some users report problems for older versions. Mostly they are already fixed. If you are using older versions, please update SobiPro and its applications to the most recent versions!

Hello
Can I add new entries with import export application, in a specific category?
I Export some entries, add some more with the same structure in the csv When I import csv, old entries updated but new entries returns error " Field 'field_category' has no data. Skipping!
In All entries section I find a Temporary category (Temporary category - Thu, 25 Oct 18 12:32:05 +0000) with the new entries.
I have latest clean sobipro and clean Joomla 3.8.13 apache server, mysql and PHP ver. 7.0.32

Hi,

probably your import is wrongly configured.

I recommend to get a subscription to be able to ask our support or check the documentation of the Import/Export application.

In addition the error log for every entry haw this two inputs

explode() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given
In File/opt/fields/adapters/import/fields/category.php: 59

strlen() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given
In File/lib/models/adm/ientry.php: 212

Yes you can add new entries assigned to a specific category using the Import/Export application.

I Made a fresh installation (joomla and sobipro) and manipulated business catalog export csv adding same entries with different names and id and transfer export pattern to import
Still import update old entries (I think ID is recognized) but for new entries still makes a Temporary category. Error is "Field 'field_category' has no data. Skipping!" In field_category there is category IDs comma separated (or only one, no change).
Error log is :
explode() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given
In File/opt/fields/adapters/import/fields/category.php: 59

strlen() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given
In File/lib/models/adm/ientry.php: 212

Any Help ??

Hi Tasos,
I had the same messages "...to be string, array given" and "Field 'field_category' has no data. Skipping!" too, when using imex_2.3.
Using previous version imex_2.1: no messages and categories are now correct in the entries.
