Sigsiu.NET was founded in 2003.

Beside building web sites we developed an emergency disk using FreeDOS and the live CD operating system Siggix based on Knoppix. Siggix was preconfigured to burn data on CD or DVD and accessing the internet immediatelly after booting.

Until 2005 we additionally carried on a repair service for HP notebooks before we attended ourselves mainly to the development of components for Joomla!. Already in 2004 we had the first contact with the CMS Mambo and build our own company site with Mambo. Since then we use Mambo and Joomla! for developing web sites.

In June 2006 we released our first Sobi based on JAddresses. Already in September 2006 we released Sobi2 which was build up new from the bottom.

Sigrid Suski

Sigrid Suski
She studied electrotechnics before she started to work as a software engineer for industrial products. The focus was on the development of software for numerical controls using Microsoft C++/MFC.
Besides her development work for the Sobi project she is mainly responsible for design solutions, documentations and quality management. She is also the chief supporter in our support center. Additionally she maintains the Sigsiu.NET websites and is responsible for all business affairs and public relations.

Radek Suski

Radek Suski
He studies informatics at Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
As the development leader he is the mastermind for developing Sobi and additional extensions.
As the system administrator he is also responsible for the maintenance of our servers, the forum and the shop and ticket system software.
