i'm asking because i'm using Sakic's SEF Advance version 4.5 and not Open_SEF

I get the following error when i publish the component:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: josopensefconfig in /home/club509/www.superhaitian.com/docs/components/com_sobi2/sef_ext.php on line 137

is there a way to make it work with SEF Advance?

Our sef_ext.php file is ONLY for OpenSEF. If you use another SEF component please delete this file.

To make it work with SEF Advance, someone has to write the sef_ext.php file for it.

Has anyone written the sef_ext.php file for SEF Advance to work?

You should ask Emir Sakic about the sef_ext for SOBI2.
We cannot write this because SEF Advance is not free and we are not able to test it.
Emir Sakic provides API for his component but You have to buy this component at first to get this documentation.
If You bought this component You have to have this documentation so You can try to write this  extension.

Emir Sakic has now released a sef extension for SOBI2/SEF Advance and it works great.

Your lisitngs look like;

http://www.yoursite.com/sobi2/Category_Name/Listing_Name

You can change "sobi2" to whatever you like.
