 As part of the installation requirements for the Gallery plugin it says "Safe Mode OFF and GD Library installed".  What is GD Library; how do I check if it's already installed; if it's not installed, where do I find it?

I still don't know what it is, by I discovered where to check it.  When in the SOBI2 component, on the menu select "About" and then "Perform System Check".
