Topic: Gallery Plugin Installation Fails

This is not a new topic, but I have not seen a solution to this problem.  When I try to install the gallery plugin through plugin manager, I get this error message:   

Error while installing new plugin

All file/folder permissions seem to be correct - or have I missed one?

Can someone please direct me to the solution to this problem.

In Sobi click on ABOUT  and on PERFORM SYSTEM CHECK and you could test if it's a permission problem
