Thumbnails align in "Detail View" - IE problem

I have a problem with thumbnails in my detail view - I'd like to center them. Everything works fine in Firefox, but IE can't understand text-align: center in table.sobi_gallery td (CSS file). How can I solve this problem?

Go to the gallery plugin admin panel and look for

Adjust Table Sizes

Set to "Yes"

"Adjust Table Sizes" was and is set to "Yes". Problem still exists.  :(

I will tell you my workaround. I remove the border from the td and add it back to the image itself.

This will at least remove the gap you see between the image and the border.
