How to avoid mootools conflicts

Mootools is a javascript library which is used by Joomla!, by a lot of extensions for Joomla! like Sobi2 and by several Joomla! templates.

Some Joomla! templates include a version of mootools which is not compatible with the mootools versions of Sobi2.

Also using the mootools upgrade plugin of newer Joomla! versions can conflict with Sobi2 mootools version.

You can switch off the usage of Sobi2 mootools library by setting the key "use_own_mootools" in the section "search" in the registry editor (Sobi2 admin panel -> Menu Tab "configuration" -> "Registry Editor") or directly in the file components/com_sobi2/includes/inc/config.ini, to "0".

If you do this make sure that mootools library is always included while Sobi2 is running.
