The integrated Google Maps feature supports at the moment only geographical coordinates.
To use the Google Map feature on your site a Google API Key is needed. You will get this API Key for free at Google: Get a Google API Key.Now add two new fields (user definable fields) of type inputbox using the Fields Manager. One field for latitude and another field for longitude. Then configure Google Maps in the SOBI2 administration panel: Configuration->View Configuration->Google Maps. ![]() In the field API Key enter the API Key, which you got from Google. Then adjust the size of Google Map shown in the details view (width and height). For the Geo Category module change these settings in the module configuration. After that, in the list for latitude choose the new field which you have created for latitude. The same with longitude. Adjust the starting Zoom Level and the shown Info Bubble. Now set Show to "yes". The new fields for longitude and latitude has now to be filled in with the geographical coordinates for the entry. Fetch coordinates by address Fetch coordinates by map |
