SOBI Answer Different RSS Feeds (latest, most popular, ...) are available for SOBI2.

The RSS symbol is shown on the bottom of the page. If the symbol is clicked on the components main page the 10 latest entries of all categories are shown. If the symbol is clicked within a specific category the 10 latest entries of this category are shown.
The number of shown entries is generally limited to a maximum of 10!
The use of RSS feeds can be switched off in SOBI2 administration panel General Configuration->General by setting "Use RSS Feeds" to No.
The RSS feeds can also be used to show further information in a Joomla! module.

Latest Entries
To show the latest entries of your whole directory use:

http://site.com/index2.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=rss&no_html=1

To show the latest entries of a specific category use:
http://site.com/index2.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=rss&no_html=1&catid=3

The number in catid=3 indicates the category id. You will find this number in the Category Manager of SOBI2 administration panel.

Most Popular Entries
To show the most popular (hits) entries use:
http://site.com/index2.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=rss&no_html=1&order=2

Entries which expire next
To show the next entries which will expire use:
http://site.com/index2.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=rss&no_html=1&order=3

Last Updated Entries
To show the last updated entries use:
http://site.com/index2.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=rss&no_html=1&order=4

Random Entries
To show entries randomly use:
http://site.com/index2.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=rss&no_html=1&order=5

Using a Joomla! User Module
To implement the RSS feeds as a module on your site make a new module in the Joomlas Site Modules sections and enter the RSS address as stated above as RSS URL.

Instead of the standard Joomla! user module, the module mod_fetchrss can be used.
