We just released SobiPro 1.2.1. It comes with a bunch of new features. The main new feature is back-end ACL! Select which user group may have which permissions in SobiPro back-end. The SobiPro back-end ACL is based on Joomla ACL but extended to specify different rule sets for different sections.
The new template settings are enhanced by a lot of new features, such as
- a new colour theme 'terra'
- the possibility to hide the extended search button
- shortening text in textareas
- hiding the categories container
- selectable Ajax navigation
- image ratio (for image placeholder)
- tooltip support*
- printing support*
- coloured tabs and staple tabs support in default B3 template*
- carousel support in default B3 template*
* Support means that the necessary CSS classes and scripts are included.
Additionally this SobiPro version is PHP 7 and Joomla! 3.5 compatible and has the possibility to load Bootstrap 3 from CDN. Also the URL field got a small improvement.
The jQuery-UI library is removed, jQuery is updated to version 1.11.3 and Font Awesome 4 to version 4.5.0
There were 20 bugs fixed. It is recommended to update SobiPro. Please check the changelog list for a full list of all new features, changes and bug fixes.
Due to the amount of new features, the release of SobiPro 1.2.1 was a bit delayed which results in a delay of the new SobiRestara 3.0 template. We will release it now in January 2016.
