The SobiPro Control Panel is the main SobiPro screen in your Joomla! administration (back-end), from where you can access all sections and the global (section-independent) configurations and functions. If gives you an overview of the SobiPro status, the version numbers of SobiPro and its applications and direct access to SobiPro functionality. Access the control panel from the Joomla! components menu by selecting.
The SobiPro Control Panel is divided into six areas.
The SobiPro toolbar at the top of SobiPro's control panel consists of two buttons showing drop-down lists. The first button, the Section button, allows to un-publish, publish, add and delete SobiPro sections. Sections in SobiPro are independent directories. The second one, the Menu button, gives you access to all section-independent administration functions.
The Section toolbar button
If you click on the Section toolbar button, a drop down list is shown. Select Add to add a new section. To delete a section, choose the section from the sections list on the left side and click on Delete. To publish or un-publish a section, choose the section from the sections list on the left side and click on Publish or Unpublish.
If you want to delete a section, make sure that it is empty (no entries, no categories) and the cache for it is cleared first.
The Menu toolbar button
The Menu toolbar button gives you access to all section-independent administrative functions. These are the global System Settings, the Access Control List (ACL), the Application Manager and the Template Manager for all SobiPro templates on your system and to the SobiPro Help pages.
The Menu toolbar button is available for all SobiPro main pages to give access to the section-independent administrative functions at any time. If you are not on the Control Panel page, you can access also the Control Panel via the Menu toolbar button.
The SobiPro System Status shows the state of important SobiPro settings of your system. Make sure to have them all in green when you go live with your site. Especially there should not be any messages shown in red.
The state of the following settings are monitored:
Change the state of displaying errors, of the debug level and the XML output in System Settings ➜ Global Configuration ➜ Debug & Error Logging.
The system status check also monitors wrong section-depending settings in your system. If there are such problems you will see an orange button, telling you the number of issues found. Click on that button to see the issues in detail.
Go to the given section and correct the mentioned issue(s).
The SobiPro Information Pane features five different content areas you can access by clicking on each title., , , and .
SobiPro's quick links are just what they say, quick links to the global System Settings, the Access Control List (ACL), the Application Manager and the Template Manager for all SobiPro templates on your system.
The sections list allows to access the section-dependent SobiPro functions by clicking on the section name. The section-dependent functions include the Fields editor, the Entries and Categories manager, the Section Configuration, the Section Applications and the Section Template for a section.
By ticking the check box left to the section name, followed by selecting the corresponding function from the Section toolbar menu, you can delete, publish or un-publish a section. You can employ the function on several sections at once by ticking the check box of multiple sections.
The shown Id is the id of your section and the State shows the current publishing state of the section. A green tick (checkmark) () is shown for published sections and a red X () for un-published sections. You can click on the sign to change the state from published to un-published, or vice versa.
The Order by drop-down button menu allows to sort the list of sections by Name ascending, Name descending, Unpublished state first or by Published state first.
SobiPro can show a small 'statistic' in the Control Panel. These are the 5 most popular entries, the 5 latest entries and the 5 newest un-approved entries from all sections.
SobiPro can also show the 5 most popular categories and the 5 latest categories from all sections if enabled in the global configuration.

The SP-GeoMap Module for SobiPro allows to show entries of a SobiPro directory (section) on a geographical map in a Joomla module position. A customizable info window using a XSLT template within the module can be used to show data of the specific entry.
The module comes with several features such as:
Note: Google Maps and OpenStreetMap + Leaflet are supported.
The SobiPackages Template is an advanced Business Directory template for SobiPro. It is based on the default SobiPro template V4.2 with Bootstrap 3 support, but using Font Awesome 4 icons, and adds the same Business Directory as delivered with the full version of SobiPro.
The SobiPackages Template is prepared to let your user select a Basic, Silver or Gold package while adding an entry. The difference between these packages can be the time an entry is published and/or the fields the user can fill in and/or the price for each package.
SobiPackages contains the following features:
The SobiPro SP-GeoMap Field extends the types of possible fields for SobiPro with a field type for showing the location of an entry on a geographical map. While editing an entry, it creates coordinates based on the geo-location of the current IP address of the author, or of the entered address. Thereupon the entry will get a map with a marker on its location in the details view.
Besides the normal radius search, the field gives you also the possibility to do a proximity search to find entries within the proximity to a given location. The proximity search is a RADIUS SEARCH without the LIMITATION to a radius. With this improved usability the selection of an entry can be done immediately without changing the radius and perform a re-search if the results don't fit the idea.
The SobiPro Import/Export application enables to import entries and categories to a SobiPro section from a CSV File and to export entries and categories from a SobiPro section to a CSV or XML file.
The Gallery Field adds an additional field type to your SobiPro component.
It allows to add an image gallery to the entries or categories within the directory. The image gallery is optimized to work on mobile devices as well as on desktop computers.
The SobiPro Categories Module allows to list SobiPro categories in a standard Joomla! module position. There are several settings that allow a great deal of flexibility in the order the categories are shown and in filtering them, as well as the ability to customize the style of the categories through a module's CSS or any other stylesheet. By default it loads your SobiPro template's theme CSS file (default3 based SobiPro templates only).
Due to its adjustable sorting order and field settings, the Categories module serves a lot of different purposes, no need for additional modules. Use the module as a
Additionally the sorting order can be determined by a category input box field, a category single select list field or a category calendar field from the currently selected section (directory), so the module can also be used as a
The categories can also be filtered by every category field select list, checkbox group or radio group item of the selected section (directory), so the module can be used e.g. as a
Filtering and sorting can be combined. You can use all these different module types simultaneously by using the module several times for one or more sections.
The Category module comes with several templates with a lot of settings for each.
If you want that only registered users may add an entry to your directory (section), they normally have to register themselves first on your site using the Joomla registration form before they can add an entry in your directory. Here the Profile field jumps in and lets your users register in Joomla while adding an entry to your directory (section).
It also allows to create a members directory, where user profiles can be shown with a link to all entries of that user from any or all SobiPro sections on your site.
And third, the Profile field let you show a link and selected data within entries that links back to the user's profile. This is widen used e.g. for blogs, news, articles or similar content.
The Collection application lets your users and/or visitors 'collect' entries from a SobiPro section. These entries can be collected either only in the general collection list, the so called Favourites, or in specific collection lists.
Each user, even guests have their own collections. Collections can be shared with others by email invitation. Emails can be send to the owners of the collected entries.
This Collection Application can be used for:
The Collection Application contains three different templates which allow to present entries in a collection as a horizontal or vertical table or as a list.
With the SobiPro ACL you can give access to the entries of a section to different user groups. But you cannot distinguish the entries itself. This is where the ACL Override application jumps in. The ACL override applications allows to change the default access given in SobiPro's ACL manager for some specific entries only. If your ACL rules disallow access to entries in a section, you will be able to allow access for some specific entries only, and vice versa.
The Template Packager application will create an installable template package of a SobiPro template including the section settings, fields and categories. This is a perfect method to develop your own templates and re-install them on other sites or to create pre-configured SobiPro sections to install on different sites. Also a complete section can be copied (besides the entries).
The SobiPro Contact Form Field is an application which adds any kind of contact form to an entry.
The Contact Form field comes with four pre-defined contact form templates to easily add a, , or to the details view of the entries in your directory.
But the Contact Form field is not limited to these contact forms. The Contact Form field gives you the possibility to create any kind of form which meaning is to send via email some information to either the author of an entry or to the site administrator or to both or to any other email address. With that you can create for example a survey, ask the user for some data, and many more purposes.
The pre-defined contact forms can be enhanced by additional HTML fields such as input fields, textarea fields, select lists, radio buttons, checkboxes and datepickers. Also own contact forms can be easily created. In this way it is possible to create any kind of contact form.
As the Contact Form field uses the Notifications Application to send the emails, all contact messages are listed in the Message Center (Notifications).
The QR-Code Field adds an additional field type to your SobiPro component.
With the QR-Code Field a scan-able QR code image can be created for an entry (or a category). Setup is easy to do, and allows to add the URL to an entry (or category), any text input field or other entry related data, also combined with static text.
