Update SobiPro and its applications to the most recent version before reporting a problem!

We are continously improving SobiPro and its applications, fixing bugs and making working with them more easy. Still we see that some users report problems for older versions. Mostly they are already fixed. If you are using older versions, please update SobiPro and its applications to the most recent versions!

It was rejected, for reason of third party plugin available.
BUT..... There is no third party plugin available that I can find.

Thanks
But I will not use Discus.
I don't trust any 3rd party site, that wants full access to my personal contact list

But you trust Facebook, the biggest data collector ever ;)

That is not a logical answer
Its like me saying,
I use Sobipro, So therefore please give me all your members details, so I have a record of them, and perhaps I might on-sell their details to another party, or email them with promotional material, without their consent.

Disqus as a 3rd party program, has the potential to do exactly what I stated above.

I have no objections using facebook as a security registration, and login system. But when I'm asked by a 3rd party program, to share my contacts list, I won't continue.

It is as I refer to your idea. Having a connection to FB on your site transfers already user data to FB. As in Europe this is not allowed (data protection), we do not have a FB like button. Even the double click on the like button solutions can lead to end up at court. Not sure about 'post to Facebook automatically' add-ons, as I never checked such add-ons if they have an 'open' connection to FB.

I also do not like that, therefore I created a standard account at Disqus without connection to social sites, as I do with most services.

Hi Sigrid
I'm in Australia, and we don't have such restrictive laws. (YET).

Thanks for the hint about using a standard account for using Disqus.
I would assume using Facebook to login to Disqus, would also come under (data protection), when you share your contacts list,

Anyway, thanks for a great product.

P.S. Youtube have a manual share post button, direct to Facebook, ;)
