Update SobiPro and its applications to the most recent version before reporting a problem!

We are continously improving SobiPro and its applications, fixing bugs and making working with them more easy. Still we see that some users report problems for older versions. Mostly they are already fixed. If you are using older versions, please update SobiPro and its applications to the most recent versions!

According to the requirements, Sobi supports PHP 7+ plus. But after hosting company pushed PHP 7.2 live the search application starting failing on the front end. Just a white screen, here's the error log:

PHP Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in phar:///home/sitefolder/public_html/libraries/sobi/http://Sobi-1.0.6.phar.tar.gz/Database/MySQLi.php on line 359

Has anybody experienced this, or have a fix? Tried re-installing the current version again, it made it worse - now you cannot even pull up a listing by navigating to the directory itself.

Sigrid,

I found that link yesterday. I was hoping by now there would some sort of a solution to the issue?

Is there anything you can recommend? A new patched version coming out?

Thanks,

Mike

Sigrid,

I tried installing your latest files downloaded from the repository, and I would get installation errors.

The PHP error I was having was triggered out of the Phar file in /libraries, I did not see anything for that Component file either.

Thanks,

Mike

Probably you haven't created the new Framework library.
The next version of SobiPro will be released soon.
